Death Review Reports and Related Documents of ICE Detainees

Selected death review reports and related documents for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainees, released in response to American Oversight’s requests and litigation for records related to the deaths of people held in immigration detention.

These records underpinned the ACLU, American Oversight, and Physicians for Human Rights report “Deadly Failures: Preventable Deaths in U.S. Immigration Detention,” which found that 95 percent of deaths in ICE detention could likely have been prevented with adequate medical care. Read more here.
