Aug. 8, 2019: Barr had a meeting with then-Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats. On July 28, then-President Trump had announced that Coats would be stepping down as intelligence chief.
Oct. 17, 2019: Barr met with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy. This was the time of the House impeachment investigation.
Feb. 19, 2020: Barr gave the opening remarks at a Justice Department workshop debating the importance of Section 230, which provides online platforms with legal immunity for users’ posts.
March 3, 2020: Barr went to the White House for a meeting with the president about the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
April 20, 2020: Barr had a phone call with Chief Justice John Roberts.

Sept. 17, 2019: Barr had a call with the office of Sen. Pat Toomey, which lasted 35 minutes.
Sept. 26 and 27, 2019: Barr had two calls that originated in Italy, likely related to his trip there to meet with intelligence agencies as part of the Trump administration’s inquiry into the origins of the Russia investigation.
