Sept. 30, 2019: Barr texted Justice Department spokesperson Kerri Kupec, “Please get DOJ statement about me not talking to Ukrainians to Lindsay [Graham] ASAP. He called me because he is going on talk shows.”

March 29, 2020: Chief of Staff Will Levi texted Barr in advance of a call with information about what the Bureau of Prisons said it needed regarding personal protective equipment. According to Levi, BOP needed 12.5 million surgical masks, 36.2 million gloves, 8.8 million gowns, and 350,000 pieces of eye protection. “Based on an estimated number of individuals who will experience a level of COVID infection requiring a ventilator, 140 ventilators are needed across the 122 institutions.”

July 2, 2020: Levi texted Barr, “Jared at noon.” This is likely a meeting or call with White House adviser Jared Kushner.
