Cochise County, Ariz., Communications Concerning Proposal to Require Hand Counting Ballots

Records from the Cochise County, Ariz., Board of Supervisors in response to American Oversight’s request seeking emails and text messages related to the proposal to require hand counting of ballots submitted during the 2022 general election.

These records were reported on by the Guardian in June 2024, and were released in response to American Oversight’s lawsuit against Cochise County for the release of documents related to election administration and the delay in certifying the results of the 2022 election.
