NRR from DOJ Regarding Legal Analysis Conducted After the 2016 Presidential Election
The Department of Justice stated that it had no records responsive to American Oversight's request for any legal analyses conducted by the Office of Legal Counsel after the 2016 presidential election related to how the foreign emoluments clause of the U.S. Constitution could affect the State Department's Office of Foreign Missions' ability to approve foreign government leases, purchases, changes in use, or sales of units at Trump Organization properties.
