Lawsuit filed by American Oversight against seven federal agencies seeking to compel the release of records identifying the names and titles of individuals serving on Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) teams. The federal agencies included in this lawsuit are the Department of Commerce, the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. American Oversight seeks this information in light of the extraordinary and unprecedented authority DOGE employees have exercised with regard to hiring, firing, contracting, and access to sensitive data systems.
