Lawsuit filed by American Oversight against nine federal agencies seeking to compel the release of records identifying the names and titles of individuals serving on Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) teams. The federal agencies included in this lawsuit are the Department of Education, the Department of Homeland Security, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. General Services Administration, the Office of Management and Budget, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. American Oversight seeks this information in light of the extraordinary and unprecedented authority DOGE employees have exercised with regard to hiring, firing, contracting, and access to sensitive data systems.
