Docket Number 25-2263

Lawsuit filed by American Oversight against six federal agencies seeking to compel the release of records identifying the names and titles of individuals serving on Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) teams. The federal agencies included in this lawsuit are the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Department of Labor, the Department of the Treasury, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. American Oversight seeks this information in light of the extraordinary and unprecedented authority DOGE employees have exercised with regard to hiring, firing, contracting, and access to sensitive data systems.

This lawsuit was one of three lawsuits against more than 20 federal agencies; the other lawsuits are available here and here.
